This website was constructed on land stolen from many indigenous peoples who, thousands of years before us, used this as a meeting place and travel route, the Kayapós, the A'uwẽ, the Akwê, the Xakriabá; as a sanctuary for the Fulni-ô; as a refuge for slaves and many others from all corners of this continent. This land has meaning and connections to these people that my ancestors have attempted to erase.

> You see doors on either side of the corridor, all are locked.
> There is a marquee above you, a computer faintly visible at the end of the corridor, and a bunch of stuff on the walls.
