Hi there! We're a group of. several... entities that go by cvni81 on the web (mute ante in toki pona)!
Though most of us are inactive so it's mostly me doing the work (i go by turquoise, hello :3)
We sit at the intersections of whiteness, neurodivergency, sometimes homossexuality, sometimes transsexuality!
We have a Bunch of interests, like old TV IDs, fonts, design, old coins, history, anti-racism and anarchy, flags and probably other things i'm forgetting.
Most of our time is wasted spent watching youtube, talking on discord, playing around with inkscape and, sometimes,
in blender, making music with Jummbox, listening to music, coding my own screensavers on pygame (basically visual stims) and
doodling on my notebooks.
We live in Brasília, a land that, like shown in the corridor, was forcefully stolen from indigenous peoples thousands of years before me. We speak Portuguese natively and English... almost natively h as well as a neat constructed language called toki pona that has only 120 words that i super duper recommend learning. I've also made a font for this language, which i might put in this corridor somewhere.
Also, we're anarchists.
As in ppl ruling over other ppl is Bad no matter who does it. Also as in
antiracism, anticolonialism, feminism, antizionism (which is very important right now), all the good stuff.
Everything happens with people and through politics, so. talking about politics is important! Especially here in
Brasil, where racism and other oppressions happen silently.
Gender-wise, we all have different genders obvsly so asking pronouns is the best bet, but they/them works for all of us :3 gender is weird
about the website
This website started off as a carrd, prob in 2021, that doesnt exist anymore. too limiting. We then moved to neocities, but it has a file limit. We then moved to Github Pages in july 2020, because the repositories don't have limits; then we (re)learned how using .io for general purposes is. fucked, as well as Github being a big company, while nekoweb is kept up by a few people and donations, so we moved here! The 500MB limit isn't as bad as we thought.
Bc we're indecisive and our tastes change with time, this place's been remade 8 times if i'm
not mistaken. I want(ed) this site to be simple, but still interesting and different.
Very soon i realized i had to put stuff in this website, so i put texts and
drawings, but this place itself became a reason for it to exist, yk? to experiment with different colors
and fonts, making each room different. Because it's nowhere in particular.
Not very compartmentalized
with divs on the sides and stuff, the basic/minimalist feel of the early web, but with. better layouting,
fonts and colors. And i wanted to make this place feel real, corridors and rooms and boards.
